This sound-slash-music was created for the kinetic art-installation "Large Fire Tornado" by Ivo Schoofs. It is a celebration of light in its most original form, a spiraling tornado of fire, 50 feet feet high. A wild whirl of raw power.

The music reflects the both the calm and the storm as the artwork cycles through it's stages of cooling and heating.

Many of the sounds in the music were recorded in Ivo's warehouse using actual parts of the artwork, or tools used to create the artwork. These were later manipulated as a part of the compositional process.
