This is just the Elektron Digitakt, without any other instruments.
The bass track runs 8 times slower than the main tracks. This way 4 pages correspnds to 32 bars of music instead of just four. This helps to create a sense of really slow movement through the whole track.
The two bell tracks are different lenths (7 and 8 steps) and m.len is set to inf so these only line up again every 56 steps. I love the pseudo random shifting of bits of melody this creates.
One of the percussive tracks seems to run at double speed, but instead is making use of retrigs to create 32nd notes.
The synthsounds are made using single cycle waveforms from the Kawai K1.
Drum samples are from the the Kawai XD5. I love the grit of old romplers!
I used a computer to capture the performance with the Digitakt app and to add a bit of EQ and limiting in Ableton Live.
